To The Old Course Hotel
Just off the A91, immediately adjacent to the St Andrews Links courses and a five minute walk from the heart of the town. The A91 joins with the national motorway network at Junction 8 of the M90 which runs from Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh one hour to the South, to the old market town of Perth in the North. Glasgow is 90 minutes away, via the M90 and M8.
By Rail
Guests arrive at St Andrews Leuchars Railway Station four miles away which connects with Edinburgh and the national network. Regular services to London and all mainland UK stations and the rest of Europe by Eurostar and the Channel Tunnel.

The Duke's
When traveling independently take the A91 towards St Andrews and take the turning on the right towards Strathkinnes/Craigtoun just after the village of Guardbridge. Carry on through the village of Strathkinnes towards Craigtoun Country Park. At the next junction turn left and The Duke’s Course is half a mile along this road. The Duke’s Course is located two miles inland from the hotel. Complimentary transfers for hotel residents are provided by our team of Golf Stewards.
Flying into Scotland
There are regular domestic flights (1 hour flight time from London) and European services to Edinburgh Airport. Continental Airlines now also operate a daily non-stop flight from Edinburgh to New York/Newark.
Regular transatlantic flights land at Glasgow Airport, 90 minutes to the North.
Dundee Airport
A regular service runs between London City Airport and Dundee, only a 20 minute drive from the hotel.
St Andrews Leuchars
Only a five minute drive from the hotel, private aircraft can land at St Andrews Leuchars by prior arrangement. Aircraft up to Boeing 737s can land here and it is possible to have customs and immigration facilities.
